TUESDAY, JUNE 28, 2022:
  • 8:00 a.m. - Meet at the Stake Center, dressed in Pioneer clothing.  The packing list gives specific details of what to have with you.  If don't have a packing list, see the Resouces tab.  You will meet up with your trek "family", mark your stuff with color coded duct tape and your name, load your stuff in trailers, then take off for the camp site.  Rides have been arranged.  Don't forget to bring your lunch for the car ride!
  • The trek site is near Plymouth, Washington at the church owned "Bing Canyon Pioneer Camp."  It takes about 3 hours to get there.
  • First Day:  We will trek 4.5 miles this afternoon and then there is a "hard rope pull" to get the handcarts up to our first camp site.  Then camp set up, dinner, dance, and family fireside.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 29, 2022:
  • We will trek 7.5 total miles, pioneer reenactments, activities, evening program, family fireside, and good food!
THURSDAY, JUNE 30, 2022:
  • Ward Devotional, 3.5 total miles, pioneer reenactments, evening program, family fireside, and more good food!
  • Highlights of day will be the women's pull and the river crossing, both experiences that you will never forget!
  • Then arrive and camp at Zion!  Activities, food, evening program, and family fireside.
FRIDAY, JULY 1, 2022:
  • Eat breakfast and clean up camp.
  • Groups will take turns showering at a high school in Tri-Cities and will then go to the temple as trek "families."  We have the temple scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Youth will have the opportunity to perform 3 baptisms, preferably their own family names.  There will also be a tour of the temple grounds and lunch.   Those who aren't able to be in the temple, will be able to take the tour as they wait for their group.
  • We have no set arrival time to get back to the Stake Center.  Kids will be able to call you on the ride home.  It could be anywhere from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.  We will do our best to keep siblings' arrival home at the same time if they do not live in Wenatchee/East Wenatchee.
